2019 History Teacher of the Year Award
Do you know of an outstanding Primary or Secondary History teacher who would be eligible for the History Teacher of the Year? The most-worthy recipient will be presented with the award at an official ceremony at the Hotel Grand Chancellor on World Teachers Day in October.
To be considered by the Committee applicants should demonstrate a range of the following criteria:
- Interest, enthusiasm and inspiration in undertaking teaching and promoting student learning in History;
- Innovation in the design and presentation of content and/or learning;
- Leadership in fostering skills development in the study of History
- Evidence in having assisted other teachers in developing their History skills
Please email your nomination with evidence which addresses a range of the above criteria by 4.00 p.m. Friday 27 September to Mr Paul Foley.
